The guerrilla lighting was held on the 5th of June,with approximately 50 students from the faculty of Industrial Design Engineering of the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.
The guerrilla was meant as a prelude for their annual pop festival which this year theme “Illumination”. Lighting scenes were created at the faculty building and square, the central university library (building with the cone and grass covered sloped roof) and the auditorium on the university campus. We also tried to make the logo of the festival and the guerrilla lighting logo with light! It was a lot of fun and the students were great, very enthusiastic! Coming December we have planned a lighting guerrilla as part of the course “light architecture” also in Delft.
De guerrilla lighting werd gehouden op 5 juni, met ongeveer 50 studenten van de faculteit Industrieel Ontwerpen van de Technische Universiteit Delft.
De guerrilla was bedoeld als een opmaat voor het jaarlijkse IO popfestival, dit jaar met als thema “Illumination”. Er werden lichtscènes gemaakt op het faculteitsgebouw en het plein, de centrale universiteitsbibliotheek (gebouw met de kegel en schuin grasdak) en het auditorium van de campus. We hebben ook het logo van het festival en het logo van ‘guerrilla lighting’ met licht gemaakt. Het was weer erg leuk en de studenten waren geweldig! super enthousiast! In december hebben we een ‘guerrilla lighting’ gepland als onderdeel van de keuzevak ‘light architectuur’ in Delft.
