The Blauwe Diamant Zeewolde is a waterway between the inland water and the residential center of Zeewolde and in a later phase the new residential areas Polderwijk, Tulpeneiland and Wolderwijd.
The lighting design for this waterway, the bridges and the lock is based on the lighting in the old Zuiderzee villages ad there is a direct link to the water. The form, material and colour of the bridges are the heroes and are accentuate by the light.
The bridge of the lock, the moving parts and the lock doors have been high lighted. Both from the view of the skipper and the road users. Als the steel bicycle bridge has been part of the lighting design.
