Silt Middelkerke, event building at the Belgian seaside, is on the longlist ARC24 award: for architecture and urbanism.
It was designed by ZJA architecten en DELVA. Beersnielsen entered the competition for the lighting design.

After a long renovation, Pillows hotel at Mauritskade Amsterdam has just opened its doors. Beersnielsen was responsible for the lighting design of all interior spaces. Congratulations to all involved in this beautiful project!
Opening Stevns Klint (Denmark)
October 12 queen Margrethe II opened Stevns Klint Experience, an exhibition about the extinction of the dinosaurs.

For a private residence Beersnielsen designed a bespoke chandelier made out of the light rope “Jane” by Xal.

The Stedelijk Museum Schiedam reopened in May 2022 after a renovation. Beersnielsen was responsible for the new lighting design and did the lighting out for the new exhibitions.

Highest point Fenix Museum

Glass ceilings Paleis het Loo
The glass ceilings on top of the bassecour in Paleis het Loo have been placed. These panels are important for the daylight feeling (and for the lighting design) in the extension of the museum.

Full Nachtwacht Rijksmuseum
Reconstructed missing parts of The Nachtwacht have been added to the painting. We were there for lighting out, together with journalists from all over the world, such as the New York Times.
Nominated with two projects

MEWP certification for the whole team
Yesterday at a beautiful sunny day, the whole Beersnielsen team has been practicing with aerial platforms and got certificated for using MEWPS at worksites and in museums.

Working on such a beautiful spring evening at one of the most iconic buildings in Rotterdam: Stadhuis Rotterdam illuminated by Beersnielsen, just as the Coolsingel (also almost finished).
Illuminating a braid
The sculptures route at the Westersingel in Rotterdam houses a new artpiece. The braid of Kalliopi Lemos. On behalf of Stichting Droom en Daad Beersnielsen illuminated this tall statue.

At Willemsoord in Den Helder a new city hall will be built, partially in national monument building 66. Beersnielsen has been asked for the lighting design of both buildings and their surroundings.

Park Pavilion De Hoge Veluwe won another award; the BNA price 2020 in the category Identity & Icon value. We congratulate the team with this award!

The office building of Big Green Egg Europe won the Adriaan Dessing Prijs 2020. Congrats Team Paul de Vroom + Sputnik. It was nice to work with you on this great project!

Casino Middelkerke, Belgium
Consortium Nautilus won the competition for the new casino in Middelkerke. Beersnielsen is part of the team consisting of Ciril, ZJA, DELVA, OZ, Bureau Bouwtechniek, Furnibo and Democo.
A jummy lighting design
Sometimes a lighting design illuminates the sweetest things, such as the patisserie of the Bijenkorf Amsterdam. This design is part of the big refurbishment of the Bijenkorf.

Beersnielsen has been part of the renovation of the Wereldmuseum. One hall of the exhibition ‘Kruispunt Rotterdam’ just opened. In September you can visit the whole museum.
Theater Zuidplein has moved
In May Theater Zuidplein moved to it’s new building. We can see new theater shows, or drink a coffee or eat something in the restaurant from September 15th. We can’t wait!

After winning a Darc award our project the biophilic chandeliers in Parc Pavilion de Hoge Veluwe also won a LIT Award in the category Interior Architectural Illumination.

Last Saturday was the grand opening of the totally renovated concert hall De Vereeniging in Nijmegen. Beersnielsen was responsible for the lighting design of the interior and exterior.

Facade Bijenkorf Rotterdam restored
The original lighting in the windows of the Bijenkorf Rotterdam, designed by Beersnielsen, has been restored in the way architect Marcel Breuer had intended it.
