The new HQ of Suitsupply at the Zuidas in Amsterdam opened in 2020 after a renovation and extension. The architect was BIG, Bjarke Ingels Group. The building stands out for its sloping design, which results in staggered roofs. These roofs function as terraces which provide relaxation areas for staff to enjoy during lunch breaks and informal gatherings. Following the natural slope of the building, the vegetation will protect and frame the lush roof terraces.
The outdoor public space at the foot of the building blends with the interior spaces of the tower, including the lobby and the café that overlooks the bustling Europaboulevard. The upper part of the building contains workspaces with access to generous green outdoor terraces.

Beersnielsen was asked by Brink Management en Advies on behalve of the property developer C2 Vastgoed partly responsible for the lighting design of the terraces and 3D printed concrete walls. Especially lighting the concrete walls was a challenge as you can see below where we put some pictures from the test.
